ASTEROIDZ

This project was created for the GMTK Gamejam in 2023.

Have you ever thought of playing the old arcade game called "Asteroids" as a literal asteroid? (An asteroid with a few powers, that is.) No? Who cares, as this thought is now reality! :D

Instructions: Control your asteroid with WASD. Pressing SPACE allows you to create a smaller asteroid which you can turn around you with your cursor. You can destroy other asteroids and ships with it. Press the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON to shoot it in the corresponding direction. You can pause the game with ESC.

Goal: Destroy as many ships as possible without dying in order to gain score.

Tip: If you run out of ammo (small asteroids), you can wait until the enemies destroy your surroundings. Asteroids and enemy ships will occasionally drop a small asteroid.
